DIY Project

I started working on my own project and decided to make a leather bag while I am working at shoe maker in Stavne. After some drawings and design process I come up with an model and started making it. By following the measurements I cutted the leather that I choose and sewed it with a machine. After some detail works like hanger, lock and handle I am finished with it. And I really like the result, even though it is my first diy leather bag :)

Trip to Leirfoss

Besides the work, Stavne gives importance to social and sports activities. This week we had one of them. It was a little hiking trip from Stavne to Leirfoss which has a lovely river side. Thanks to the good and sunny weather, it was very nice to walk and have a barbeque near the river side.

World Cup Granåsen!

Trondheim has a ski jumping hill named Granåsen since 1940 and skicenter frequently hosts World Cup and Continental Cup competitions. This year World Cup was at 12 March and I had the chance to watch them literally whole day, outside at freezing wheather but its totally worth it!

Hello Norway

Finally I am here in Norway after a long journey :) I am Serap and from Turkey. Today I arrived Trondheim and will be the next volunteer in Stavne for the next 7 months.  Norway didn't suprise me in the first impression, with snow every where and cold weather. But lucky me I have my lovely mentors were waiting for me at the airport. Now I am so excited and can't wait for the new adventures. :)
